Ato is a result-driven and a team player with over 17 years’ experience in financial service sector spanning across various organisations.


Prior to joining Donewell Insurance, he worked at Absa Bank Ghana Ltd (formerly Barclays Bank Ghana Ltd) where he occupied the following roles: Assurance Manager, Credit Analyst - Model & Impairment and Business Support & Recoveries Manager (Wholesale Credit).


He has worked at International Commercial Bank Ghana Ltd (now FBN) as a Credit Officer


He also worked at ProCredit Saving & Loans Ltd (now part of Fidelity Bank Ghana Ltd) as a Credit Officer.


He has an extensive knowledge in evaluating the Design and Operating Effectiveness of Controls.


Ato has expertise in analyzing risk and implementing appropriate controls to mitigate principal risk.


He holds MBA in Finance from University of Ghana and Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Cape Coast.


Ato is a Chartered Accountant and a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), UK and Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana (ICAG). He also holds certificate in Commercial Credit from Moody’s Analytics.
