Joseph Adom is a chartered accountant by profession and a Fellow member of ACCA, UK (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants). He holds an Executive MBA in Banking and Finance from the Paris Graduate School of Management (PGSM). He has attended several conferences and training programs both at home and abroad.

He has over twenty-five (25) years of progressive professional working experience, fourteen of which has been in Senior Management position. He has spent about twenty years (20) years of his working career in the Insurance Industry, nine of which has been in non-life, and the rest in Reinsurance.

Joseph served as the Deputy Managing Director of Finance and Administration at Ghana Reinsurance PLC until his appointment in April 2025, a position he held for four and a half years. During this time, he stepped in as Managing Director whenever the substantive MD and DMD Technical were unavailable.

Joseph has a proven track record of driving growth in profit, a deep understanding of operations, and Balance Sheet Management. He also has a track record of improving existing processes and systems.
