Major Daniel Ablorh-Quarcoo (rtd.) is a Charted Management Accountant with executive-level experience in Management and Finance. From 2006 to 2011, he served as the Commissioner, Domestic Tax Revenue Division of GRA and assisted five other African countries in establishing the African Tax Administration Forum. Prior to joining the GRA, he served for 10 years (1994 – 2004) as Director of Finance for the Ghana Cocoa Board (COCOBOD). He also served for 11 years as a Paymaster with the Ghana Armed Forces. He has a degree from the University of Ghana Business School, and currently manages his own Cocoa Processing Company, Allied Cocoa Products Ltd. He was the first Chairman of the Public Interest and Accountability Committee, a Statutory Committee under the Petroleum Revenue Management Law in 2011 and has represented the Committee at various workshops, seminars and conferences countrywide including a conference in Tanzania, Rwanda and the World Bank in Washington DC. He has served on the following Boards and Councils; Produce Buying Company Ltd., Council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana and Council of the Methodist University College.
